Monster Storm to Hit the Pacific Northwest Coast tomorrow! 36 foot waves 100 mph winds & Flooding
The left over remnant of Typhoon Songda is set to strike the Pacific Northwest USA Coast tomorrow bringing 36 foot waves, 100 Mile Per Hour Winds and over 22 inches of rainfall. Tornadoes are already underway.
This is a big scary storm.

An EF2 tornado was confirmed in Manzanita, Oregon, by the National Weather Service in Portland.
A second tornado spun up in Oceanside.
Several buildings were damaged, along with power poles, trees and street signs.
More than 6,000 customers around Oregon were without power as storms continue to hit the region.
A rare occurrence shook the West Coast Friday, when two confirmed tornadoes tore through Tillamook County, Oregon.
One of the twisters tore through the town of Manzanita, Oregon, in the morning, leaving damage in its wake. A second tornado was spotted in Oceanside. The National Weather Service in Portland later rated the former twister an EF2.
Social media photos and videos show a funnel cloud that started over the Pacific and then came ashore into Manzanita. Tillamook County Sheriff Andy Long confirmed to KEZI that two blocks of the city were hit, but that no injuries have been reported as of yet. Mayor Gary Bullard issued a state of emergency, the Tillamook Headlight Herald reported.
“It was a normal beach storm, which we get a lot of, and then out of nowhere the wind went ‘whoooo,” business owner Debbie Harmon told the Associated Press. “Suddenly the whole sky was filled with debris. It was just crazy. And then it just stopped.”
The storm damaged several buildings in town and took down trees, power lines around the city, the Tillamook Pioneer Press reported on Facebook. The Tillamook County Emergency Management Agency called the damage “severe and heavy,” the Oregonian reports.
“They’re setting up a command center at the old Manzanita Fire Station in downtown Manzanita,” the post read. “Red Cross is en route. … There’s a power pole arcing along Highway 101 in Wheeler, too. Best not to be out driving in the Nehalem Bay area right now.”
The paper also reported that one woman was trapped in her house due to downed trees blocking the entrance.
The funnel is only the second tornado to hit the state this year, said weather.com senior meteorologist Jonathan Erdman, the only other touching down on June 8 in Wheeler County. Prior to today, there had been only 4 tornadoes on record since 1950 in Tillamook County, Erdman said. The last occurred on Sep. 18, 1997.

Elsewhere in the state, thousands are without power as a series of strong storms continues to batter the region. According to the Associated Press, Portland General Electric reported that more than 4,000 customers were without power at 5 a.m. Friday. Pacific Power reported that 2,800 customers in coastal communities had no lights, down from a peak of more than 15,000.
A father and his four-year-old son were injured in Seattle when a tree branch fell on top of them Friday, according to the National Weather Service. The father sustained minor injuries and the son sustained serious injuries.
Puget Sound Energy responded to scattered outages that affected thousands Friday in Washington.
Torrential rains, lashing winds with hurricane-force gusts along the coast and the potential for massive power outages are all headed toward the Pacific Northwest over the next few days with meteorologists saying the deluge headed our direction could be of “historic” proportions.
The looming succession of storms was concerning enough for Cliff Mass, a professor of atmospheric sciences at the University of Washington, to draw parallels between what we are facing over the next few days and the infamous 1962 Columbus Day Storm.
“The Columbus Day Storm had its origin as Typhoon Frieda, taking over a week to get across the Pacific,” Mass wrote on his popular weather blog. “Our Saturday storm started as Typhoon Songda, which is now moving towards us as it transforms into an extratropical (midlatitude) storm. Both of these storms retained some of their tropical “juice” with lots of moisture and tight, strong low pressure centers.”

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, and to prepare the Nation for space weather events, it is hereby ordered as follows:
Section 1. Policy. Space weather events, in the form of solar flares, solar energetic particles, and geomagnetic disturbances, occur regularly, some with measurable effects on critical infrastructure systems and technologies, such as the Global Positioning System (GPS), satellite operations and communication, aviation, and the electrical power grid. Extreme space weather events — those that could significantly degrade critical infrastructure — could disable large portions of the electrical power grid, resulting in cascading failures that would affect key services such as water supply, healthcare, and transportation. Space weather has the potential to simultaneously affect and disrupt health and safety across entire continents. Successfully preparing for space weather events is an all-of-nation endeavor that requires partnerships across governments, emergency managers, academia, the media, the insurance industry, non-profits, and the private sector.
It is the policy of the United States to prepare for space weather events to minimize the extent of economic loss and human hardship. The Federal Government must have (1) the capability to predict and detect a space weather event, (2) the plans and programs necessary to alert the public and private sectors to enable mitigating actions for an impending space weather event, (3) the protection and mitigation plans, protocols, and standards required to reduce risks to critical infrastructure prior to and during a credible threat, and (4) the ability to respond to and recover from the effects of space weather. Executive departments and agencies (agencies) must coordinate their efforts to prepare for the effects of space weather events.

The Georgia Guidestones is an enigmatic granite monument situated in Elbert County, Georgia. Also known as the American Stonehenge, the gigantic structure is almost 20 feet high and is made of six granite slabs, weighing in total 240,000 pounds. The most astonishing detail of the monument is however not its size but the message engraved into it: Ten rules for an “Age of Reason”. These guides touch upon subjects that are associated with the “New World Order”, including massive depopulation, a single world government, the introduction of a new type of spirituality, etc. The authors of those rules have requested to remain totally anonymous and, until now, their anonymity has been duly preserved. However, this mysterious group left a text explaining the reasoning behind the rules, a text that was not discussed online before. With this new information, the purpose behind the Guidestones become very clear, leaving little room for hypotheses. The Guidestones describe the ideal world, as envisioned by occult Secret Societies. The monument is therefore proof of an existing link between secret societies, the world elite and the push for a New World Order.

HSBC Issues Red Alert, Warning of a ‘Severe Fall’ In the Stock Market

In a note to clients released Wednesday, Murray Gunn, the head of technical analysis for HSBC, said he had become on “RED ALERT” for an imminent sell-off in stocks given the price action over the past few weeks.
Gunn uses a type of technical analysis called the Elliott Wave Principle, which tracks alternating patterns in the stock market to discern investors’ behavior and possible next moves.
In late September, Gunn said the stock market’s moves looked eerily similar to those just before the 1987 stock market crash. Citi’s Tom Fitzpatrick also highlighted the market’s similarities to the 1987 crash just a few days ago. On September 30, Gunn said stocks were under an “orange alert,” as they looked to him as if they had topped out.
And now, given the 200-point decline for the Dow on Tuesday, Gunn thinks the drop is here.
“With the US stock market selling off aggressively on 11 October, we now issue a RED ALERT,” Gunn said in the note. “The fall was broad-based and the Traders Index (TRIN) showed intense selling pressure as the market moved to the lows of the day. The VIX index, a barometer of nervousness, has been making a series of higher lows since August.”

Pluto is giving off X-Rays and Scientists have no idea why! There aren’t any explainable processes Astronomers can figure out to explain why Pluto might be giving off such high energy rays.

The first detection of Pluto in X-rays has been made using NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory in conjunction with observations from NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft.
As New Horizons approached Pluto in late 2014 and then flew by the planet during the summer of 2015, Chandra obtained data during four separate observations. During each observation, Chandra detected low-energy X-rays from the small planet. The main panel in this graphic is an optical image taken from New Horizons on its approach to Pluto, while the inset shows an image of Pluto in X-rays from Chandra.
There is a significant difference in scale between the optical and X-ray images. New Horizons made a close flyby of Pluto but Chandra is located near the Earth, so the level of detail visible in the two images is very different. The Chandra image is 180,000 miles across at the distance of Pluto, but the planet is only 1,500 miles across. Pluto is detected in the X-ray image as a point source, showing the sharpest level of detail available for Chandra or any other X-ray observatory. T
his means that details over scales that are smaller than the X-ray source cannot be seen here.
Detecting X-rays from Pluto is a somewhat surprising result given that Pluto – a cold, rocky world without a magnetic field – has no natural mechanism for emitting X-rays. However, scientists knew from previous observations of comets that the interaction between the gases surrounding such planetary bodies and the solar wind – the constant streams of charged particles from the sun that speed throughout the solar system — can create X-rays.
The researchers were particularly interested in learning more about the interaction between the gases in Pluto’s atmosphere and the solar wind. The New Horizon spacecraft carries an instrument designed to measure that activity up-close — Solar Wind Around Pluto (SWAP) — and scientists examined that data and proposed that Pluto contains a very mild, close-in bowshock, where the solar wind first “meets” Pluto (similar to a shock wave that forms ahead of a supersonic aircraft) and a small wake or tail behind the planet.
The immediate mystery is that Chandra’s readings on the brightness of the X-rays are much higher than expected from the solar wind interacting with Pluto’s atmosphere. The Chandra detection is also surprising since New Horizons discovered Pluto’s atmosphere was much more stable than the rapidly escaping, “comet-like” atmosphere that many scientists expected before the spacecraft flew past in July 2015. In fact, New Horizons found that Pluto’s interaction with the solar wind is much more like the interaction of the solar wind with Mars, than with a comet. While Pluto is releasing enough gas from its atmosphere to make the observed X-rays, there isn’t enough solar wind flowing directly at Pluto at its great distance from the Sun to make them according to certain theoretical models.
There are several suggested possibilities for the enhanced X-ray emission from Pluto. These include a much wider and longer tail of gases trailing Pluto than New Horizons detected using its SWAP instrument. Because Pluto is so small compared to the size of a Chandra point source, scientists may be unable to detect such a tail in X-rays. Other possibilities are that interplanetary magnetic fields are focusing more particles than expected from the solar wind into the region around Pluto, or the low density of the solar wind in the outer solar system at the distance of Pluto could allow for the formation of a doughnut, or torus, of neutral gas centered around Pluto’s orbit. It will take deeper and higher resolution images of X-rays from Pluto’s environment than we currently have from Chandra to distinguish between these possibilities.
The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, Maryland, designed, built, and operates the New Horizons spacecraft, and manages the mission for NASA’s Science Mission Directorate. The Southwest Research Institute, based in San Antonio, leads the science team, payload operations and encounter science planning. New Horizons is part of the New Frontiers Program managed by NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama.

HEADS UP! Asteroid Passes Undetected Near Geostationary Satellites and Earth final
Astronomers spotted an asteroid on Oct. 10 after it had flown past Earth on a course that took it so close to the planet it was near the orbits of some satellites.
The object, named 2016 TS54, was about 25 to 50 feet (8-16 meters) wide, though that’s a rough estimate based on its distance and assumed reflectivity. Had it entered the atmosphere, it would have exploded high up, experts figure.
The asteroid passed just under the orbits of geostationary satellites, which at 22,236 miles (35,786 kilometers) altitude are the highest manmade objects circling Earth. Most other satellites, along with the International Space Station, circle the planet at just a few hundred miles up.
The rock approached Earth from near the Sun and so would have been nearly impossible to detect prior to close passage.
Astronomers are aware of this significant blind spot for asteroids that approach Earth while in the glare of the Sun. Only a space telescope could detect such objects before they arrive.

The Vatican was accused of hiding many things. Now, it’s being accused of hiding a time machine.
The machine in question is called a “Chronovisor” and was built in the 1950s by a Benedictine monk named Father Pellegrino Ernetti. No photos of the Chronovisor exist, but paranormal journalist John Chambers says Ernetti reportedly used the “way back machine” to film Christ’s crucifixion for Vatican officials.

Russia said it’s working with China to counter U.S. plans to expand its missile-defense network, which the two nations see as targeting their military assets.
The upgrades aim to give Washington the ability to launch a nuclear strike “with impunity,” Lieutenant General Viktor Poznikhir of the Russian Armed Forces General Staff said Tuesday at a security forum in Xiangshan, China, according to a transcript of his speech posted on the Defense Ministry’s website. The Asian neighbors this year conducted a joint missile-defense exercise of their computer command staff, he said.
“We are working together on ways to minimize possible damage to the security of our countries,” Poznikhir said. “The illusion of invulnerability and impunity under the guise of missile defense will encourage Washington to make unilateral steps in dealing with global and regional issues. This could lead to a decrease in the threshold for using nuclear weapons to preempt enemy actions.”
Russia’s concern about U.S. nuclear capabilities highlights a deepening rift between the Cold War foes as they trade accusations over the war in Syria. While NATO members have stressed that the alliance’s global missile shield will be a defense solely against potential attacks from so-called “rogue states,” particularly Iran and North Korea, Russia and China have been voicing concerns over their own security.

Powerful storms to deluge northwestern US into next week may be a sign of winter conditions to come
At least three potent storms will blast the northwestern United States from the latter part of this week to the early part of next week.
The storms could be an early sign of a La Niña-like pattern for the winter ahead. La Niña is a pattern noted by a zone of cooler-than-average water temperatures in the tropical Pacific Ocean. Depending on the strength and extent of this cool puddle, weather patterns across much of the globe can be affected.
“The series of storms will bring heavy rain, high country snow and high winds to portions of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, northern California and western Montana, as well as neighboring British Columbia into next week,” according to AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Brett Anderson.
The storms will bring winds strong enough to down trees, trigger power outages and perhaps cause minor property damage.
The first storm on Thursday into Friday will bring gusts between 40 and 80 mph on the coasts from northernmost California to Oregon and Washington on Thursday.
Stronger storms with the potential for more powerful winds will follow into next week.
From Saturday to Sunday, the second storm may contain moisture and some of the remnant circulation from Typhoon Songda, currently in the western Pacific.
While the system this weekend may be non-tropical in nature by the time it reaches the Northwest, it could hit with the force and some impact of a hurricane. Gusts in some coastal areas of Oregon and Washington could range between 75 and 100 mph.
Seas will quickly build to dangerous heights ahead of the second storm. Serious beach erosion and coastal flooding will be possible along the Washington, Oregon and northern California coastlines.
A third storm will follow from Monday night into Tuesday.
Through next Tuesday, many locations along the coast, including the Olympic range as well as the west-facing slopes of the Cascades and northern Sierra Nevada, will receive 12 inches of rain with locally higher amounts.
The Portland Bureau of Transportation urged residents on Tuesday night to begin clearing debris out of storm drains to prevent urban flooding.
Travel along the Interstate 5 corridor could be difficult due to the rounds of heavy rain and strong winds. Airline delays and flight cancellations are possible at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
Some rain and wind from the storms will reach as far south as San Francisco and the Bay Region.
A general 1-2 inches of rain is likely in the agricultural regions of central Washington and Oregon with a few inches of rain possible farther to the east in Washington, Oregon, central and northern Idaho and western Montana.
While the rainfall will ease the abnormally dry and drought conditions in the region, too much rain may fall too fast in coastal areas and along the mountainsides. People should be prepared for flooding, mudslides and road washouts as the series of storms continues in these areas.
Heavy snow will fall over the high country of the Northwest. Hikers should avoid the ridges and peaks in the region as weather conditions can rapidly become dangerous and life-threatening from episodes of heavy snow, high winds and plunging temperatures from Thursday through at least Tuesday.
Actual snow levels will vary during each storm. However, several feet of snow will have fallen above 7,000 feet in the northern Cascades by the middle of next week.
Wet snow can mix at times close to pass levels in the Cascades and northern Sierra Nevada.
Little to no rain and snow will reach the drought-ravaged areas of Southern California during the stormy onslaught into next week.
The weather pattern setting up starting late this week could be a harbinger of things to come for the northwestern U.S. and British Columbia this winter, or at least into the start of the winter.
“A strong northern jet stream is expected to be directed into the northwestern U.S. and southern British Columbia during December,” Anderson said.
